The mountain in the Southern District is also home to a series of cave corridors, and an elaborate and well-furnished labyrinth. The Philosopher's Grotto has been the result of the Gorillas of the South occupying its large domain. Despite finding a habitat within the a supposed dark and dank location, it is quite the opposite on the inside. The grotto is a well decorated base of operations, complete with various facilities. Much of it resembles the inside of a mansion, and the sub levels are attached to a the remnants of a decayed subway station, though its path is blocked by a cave-in.

A massive complex spanning several stories is what makes up the most iconic library within the city. The central auditorium cuts through to the top floor, and lined with terraces each with bookshelves encircling the space in the middle. The ceiling is painted with an elaborate design similar to that of the Sistine Chapel, though speculation states it might just be wallpaper. However, the quantity and quality of books cannot be doubted, and thousands of texts can be found within the confines of the library. Despite it being a place for reading, it is constantly used as a hangout spot by the locals of the district.

A ring designated to settle disputes between gentleman. A place where the true idea of "survival of the fittest" comes into play. A miniature Roman Colosseum can be found within the district, and it serves as a means of competition and entertainment. Fights happen daily, and it is a spot where one can show his or her prowess, or pay off overdue debts. Due to the Roman design of the building, Darwin's Ring stands out within the environment due to the drastic change of architecture.

Board Description
southern district
Another urban environment though characterized by its Western Influence. The architecture is similar to modern London, a hybrid of new and old with Georgian style housing. Aged red brick is abundant, and rectangle, white-lined windows frequent the buildings. Here and there there are specks of more up-to-date buildings, constructed of glass or steel, but the district is infamous for its traditional design. Despite the urban environment, the streets are much more scarce in terms of civilian activity.
