[/b] - (d-rank) Alphonse has been blessed with a power that seems to relate to his constant changing of scene, not to mention the seemingly displaced nature of his own existence from birth. Currently he can only change the earth into a few different types of terrains, though growing stronger will gain a variety of terrains available for use. Between terrains there is a four post cool down, each of them extends 10 meter radius from around the users. So far, Alphonse has access to three different terrains. One thing to keep in mind about these terrains, changing the terrain of anywhere will be incredibly taxing, therefore the user can only change the terrain three times in a thread before literally passing out. Once the terrain has been changed, it wont go back to what it was until someone does something about it or it naturally goes back. Since Alphonse is only a d-rank, control over his powers is limited and therefore this power can work as a double edged sword and if he is not careful will get caught in his own terrain change and end up suffering as well so keep in mind while Alphonse can change the terrain, how it forms is not well under control yet! - ICE TERRAIN: This terrain change turns the area around him into a sheet of ice. Everything around the users turns to ice and it covers the area. What this does is it makes movement difficult for coordination. Slipping is common on this floor, and is one of the main purposes for creating this floor. Any d-rank attack could break up the ice in the area and allow the person to move around so long as they were willing to destroy the floor. Speed is halved on average for anyone of the same rank.
- BAMBOO TERRAIN: This terrain causes the ground to become a softer soil and bamboo shoots to shoot up from the ground, these bamboo shoots up to about five meters from the ground. They will sprout randomly but one can believe that maneuvering will be difficult with these shoots constantly in your way. This is generally a good way to make enemies unable to reach the user quickly, or simply cause trouble. There is also the chance the user managed to control the growth of the terrain well enough in an attempt to stab the enemy or enemies. Currently however, the user has almost no control over where they shoots actually grow.
- QUICKSAND TERRAIN: This terrain causes the area around the user to become a potent quicksand, and anyone caught within its range will immediately begin to sink to it's depths. Currently the "depths" of this quicksand are the knees, but it still can catch anyone d-rank in it's trap. If they wanted to be able to get out they would either need enhanced strength, speed, or an ability that would allow them to get out. Unlike the other terrains, this one has to be concentrated and can only affect one person at a time.
