Kellen growled, the cowl of his cloak draped over his face to block the rain. He growled, looking around as he realized he was lost again. "What the hell. All I did was walk down the street from the construction site, took a left to my apartment, and sudden....was I exposed to take a right?" Yeah, before this he had always had a GPS.
Kellen sighed, figuring he would walk around till he found a street he recognized or something/one helped him out. Again. But during this rain? The shark man sighed again, and slipped his cowl off his head, letting the rain splash down on his face and down his skin. It was one of the few sensations he had left to his skin nerves. He had been experimenting on his new body. Lets just say that it was very hard to cut him down. Kellen stopped, tilting his head up and just let the rain hit his face, closing his eyes. It felt so good just to enjoy a small thing like this. He gave a purr of pleasure, feeling the water going down his back as the memories of the day washed over him, the......less memorial ones as well.
Same old same old, trapped in the work lard doing stupid manual labor as he worked for his dinners and such. They had been making a new building, and Kellen was, of course, just the labor. He had a college degree and could point out several design flaws in the damn building, and they just treated him like a high school drop out. He wanted to wring their necks. "The day I snap, they are the first to go." he smirked at that idea, opening his eyes as he looked forward, his hair plastered to his head. "Where....the....hell am I?" Kellen asked, looking around, and recognized Jamie's place. "Ahh, it was a right back there," Kellen said, slipping into his favorite bar.
Kellen ducked under the first light, remembering it was there as he walked in, dripping the first three steps then slowed considerably. Kellen sat down, ordering his usual(Burger and water) and sat down at his favorite booth in the back, leaning his head against the wall as he rested, wondering for the thousandth time if they were hiring here. He was a really good cook.
