In the middle of the day, King found himself being dragged to the surrounded land mass of Lac de Réflexion by the heroine that didn't wander too much further from him. The void between them was enough to allow her to breathe but still grant him the ability to react if anything managed to threaten her existence. Had he known that joining this group meant a life equivalent to servitude, he might've though twice about including himself with the motley savages of the East or pretending sages of the South. But akin to a Siren, the lullaby that Asura weaved did more than made them victims to her angelic melody. In the matter of seconds, he saw those around him gathered on their knees. Their eyes glared at the heaven's with an unholy rage but the beats in their heart had ceased, twisting them into a collect artwork of dead men praying to the sky. He had been one of the few that she decided not to target with a simple rule to amass the worthy beneath her thumb. And in the moments of uncertainty about his own life as he had stood across from her, he had feared the invisible massacre she unleashed to the point that he repented.
And he didn't even worship a god. But after agreeing to be a butler to her and to shelter the women inside from harm, he found that his reigns had been issued to Reina when the mistress didn't require his company. Still in a blend of awe and fear, King stayed mostly quiet unless Reina had something that she needed to divulge. So with his pace matching her own, the butler was damn near a corpse when it came to communications unless offered first.
After all, Reina's commands were supposedly synonymous to his will.

It was not as if Reina had anywhere to be at the moment. As a member of the Beauties of the West, all of her needs were mostly taken care of by Asura. Of course, there was always room for more money, power, and possessions, but that would all come in time. First, she needed to get acclimated to Area D and figure out her next course of action. No longer was she in the normal world where she could reign supreme with her power alone. No, this place was full of people with abilities, ones that could kill her without much effort. Criminal or not, this prison was little more than a urban jungle, filled with predators that would rip her apart for their own survival.
Well, she would do the same, of course.
There were many reasons she had chosen the faction that she did. The first, it was a place where women held power, giving her status and prestige. The second, was that she would be assigned a personal servant and bodyguard, there to serve her every whim. How perfect! Every queen needed a king, after all. She looked at the white haired man to her left as they walked by the lake. Their walk here would serve merely one purpose, to firmly plant King under her thumb. Right now, it was against his will. But in time, he would willingly follow her into oblivion.
“Tell me, King.” Reina spoke, her voice full of false sincerity, “How do you feel about your gift?” It was a simple question, really, but it would speak volumes about his personality. After all, a normal man given extraordinary abilities was bound to cross a few moral quandaries. How did King fair in this world of madness?

When Reina verbally summoned his name into existence, a chill crept along King's spine. The feminine tone of her voice was drenched in the ill feats that Asura had performed days ago. However, he wouldn't succumb to his thoughts too much and allowed his chin to raise almost as if it helped him listen more accurately. He half expected to hear her command him to do something outrageous just to appease her silly whims.
It hadn't been the first time that he had seen one of these females make orders to their servants revolving around embarrassment for their own humor. Fortunately for King, Reina hadn't issued a formal order to him - yet.
In light of his dread, Reina didn't issue any command, but chose a simple conversation with him. The brunt of it questioned his opinion on his novel burden. And with that his retort swiftly followed, "gift"?
"You mean curse." His whole perspective summed itself up in his opening distaste for his alien-like powers. He was bound to enter a tirade before quickly catching himself.
"Sorry m'lady..." The last thing he wanted to do was fall on Reina's bad side with his overly negative opinion. "It's just .. what good could this cu-" he halted, catching himself once more. "This power give us, seeing that it has already ostracized us from the mainland and most of society. We're nothing but some empowered Darwinism project under the scrutiny of politicians, the jail task force, and probably grubby CEO's."
"I guess what I'm saying is, we're not human anymore. We're all different animals, but the same beast, if you catch my drift." Part of him wish he hadn't spoken so freely on the matter since he was unsure of how Reina would responded to someone that thought so differently from her.
King could only hope that she wouldn't be too cross with him.
